Community Redevelopment Plans
Dania Beach
IPG, in association with EDSA, Keith & Assoc., and MEAI, completed a Downtown Community Redevelopment Plan for the City of Dania Beach. The plan calls for themed districts, a pedestrian-friendly traditional downtown along existing Federal Highway, and inter-connectivity of parks, transit and sidewalks throughout the CRA.
Deerfield Beach
IPG completed a Redevelopment Plan for the City of Deerfield Beach’s Beach/Cove area that included urban design concepts, land use and zoning recommendations, enhanced pedestrian connections, parking solutions, and a new vision for aging hotels along the beach.
Sebastian
IPG was awarded a contract to update the 1995 redevelopment plan for this City on the east coast of Florida in Indian River County. The Redevelopment Master Plan Update included conceptual districts within the CRA with distinct design guidelines. Also included was an economic analysis to determine the target market and guide redevelopment planning. Sebastian is located on the east coast of Florida in Indian River County.
Oakland Park
This redevelopment plan focused on strengthening neighborhoods, increasing green space, providing attainable housing options and improving mobility. Results included new downtown mixed-use regulations and a $6 million public-private partnership.
South Miami
Drawing from the existing SMCRA Plan, existing CRA conditions, and public workshop visioning input, IPG developed a Recommended Action Plan that for the first time prioritized the Agency’s Goals and assigned project and program time frames.
Indiantown
IPG, in association with Houston Couzzo Group, developed a CRA Plan and market feasibility study for Indiantown, a low to middle-income community in western Martin County. Indiantown is located on the St. Lucie Canal, a trans-state water connection.
