Marshall is a LEED Accredited Professional with over 4 years of experience in the professional field of landscape architecture. His contributions to the profession include open space planning, environmental resource analysis, and the integration of smart growth and new urbanist principles into community design and development plans. Prior to joining Iler Planning, Marshall was a Site Planner with Jacobs Advanced Planning Group. As a Site Planner with Jacobs, Marshall was involved in a number of projects including residential, commercial, and open space design in the areas of site and open space planning, urban design, redevelopment, public involvement strategies, visual analysis and streetscape design. Additionally, his responsibilities have included base map production, conceptual design, presentation graphics, master planning, project research and documentation, data collection, construction documentation assistance, site calculations and site planning submittal sets. Marshall has extensive experience in the application of digital methods to the collection, analysis and conceptual development of planning and design information to assist in decision-making, including AutoCAD, 3D graphics packages (Autodesk Viz and SketchUp), 2D graphics package (M-Color and Adobe Software and practical knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS).
